Shoaib Sheikh, the CEO of Axact and owner of Bol TV, has been apprehended in the federal capital of Pakistan on suspicion of bribing a judge, according to initial reports.
The Federal Investigation Agency detained the prominent businessman and media tycoon after a senior FIA official filed a complaint against him in Islamabad.
It is worth noting that Mr. Sheikh had previously been sentenced to 20 years in prison by a local court, but his sentence was suspended by the Islamabad High Court.
