The Child Protection Bureau swiftly intervened in Garhi Shahu, Lahore, rescuing a 14-year-old maid, Sana, who had faced brutal assaults involving scissors, knives, and sticks at the hands of her employer.
During the ordeal, the woman forcibly cut the girl’s hair without her consent. A physical examination of the victim confirmed signs of extensive physical violence on her body.
Responding promptly to the distressing situation, the Child Protection Bureau took immediate action, ensuring the girl’s rescue from the abusive environment.
