COAS vows to bring perpetrators of vandalism to justice

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir visited Corps Headquarters Peshawar on Saturday, where he received a briefing on the ongoing counter-terrorism efforts and prevailing security situation.

During his address to the officers, the COAS stressed the evolving threats to national security and the need for continued efforts towards peace and stability.

He also warned against any attempts to violate the sanctity and security of military installations, stating that the Armed Forces will not tolerate such actions and will bring to justice those responsible for vandalism on the Black Day of May 9th.

Gen. Munir further highlighted the challenges of information warfare and efforts to create misperceptions, pledging to foil such attempts through the support of the people of Pakistan. The COAS was received by the Corps Commander Peshawar upon his arrival.
